Just like pizza is the perfect food, blending protein with carbs, dessert pizza is the perfect dessert, touching all your sweet tooth desires with everything from crispy doughy incarnations topped with s’mores, to ice-cream brownie pies and fluffy calzones stuffed with that chocolate hazelnut spread stuff (yeah, you know the one). And, really, at the end of the day, what’s one more slice going to do?

Patsy’s Pizzeria

2 Pelham Rd, New Rochelle; 914.365.2256
When you specialize in pizza, it’s a no brainer to be pretty good with dessert pizza, too, and the S’mores Pizza here is a total dream on a dish. With crust that packs a hearty crunch in every bite, and with a generous coating of Nutella, the result is a crispy, chocholaty explosion. Fluffy marshmallows and crushed graham crackers on top seal the deal.

The Parlor

14 Cedar St, Dobbs Ferry; 914.478.8200
The Apple Pie Pizza is a must-have, but the aptly named the Dough-Wich takes dough desserts to a whole ‘nother level. It involves a puffed-up, hollowed-out pizza dough that is filled with ice cream, caramel corn, and Nutella crisps resulting in the ultimate ice cream sandwich.

Coals

35 N Broadway, Port Chester; 914.305.3220
Hand-stretched pizza dough grilled over an open flame is what Coals is known for, and in the Nutella Pizza, the crisp, yet tender signature crust is slathered with creamy Nutella and sprinkled with powdered sugar.

The Dessertist

50 Maple St, Croton-On-Hudson; 914.862.4016
One part pizza, one part dessert, the signature “Pizzert” is like two rounds of dessert in one sitting. Try the 14-inch brown sugar cookie crust topped with caramel, chocolate chips, M&M’s, Oreos, and whatever else your little sweet tooth desires, and rest assured, it’s all nut-free.

Village Creamery & Sweet Shop

32 Broadway, Valhalla; 914.421.1300

All of the ice cream, waffles, and novelty products are made fresh in house, and with a little bit of sweet and savory in every bite, the ice cream and brownie pizzas are two of their best-selling novelties. These highly addictive dessert pies can be made to order with whatever homemade ice cream you crave, along with a wide selection of toppings and syrups.

Public Pizza Italian Kitchen & Wine Bar

193 Market Street, Yonkers; 914.652.7611
Classic Italian-American comfort food is this Ridge Hill restaurant’s specialty, and it doesn’t get much better than the Nutella Calzone for 2. A nutella spread is folded into oven-baked pizza dough and is freshly made in house. Packing even more flavor into the calzone, it’s prepared with hazelnuts, sweet ricotta, and topped with powdered sugar to finish.

papi’

19 Bank St, White Plains; 914.328.6535
The good news here? The oh-so-thin and airy ancient Roman pizza crust called Pinsa (containing rice, soy, and wheat flours) can be topped with sweet stuff, too. Like the savory lunch and dinner varietals, the dough is cooked for a quick 70 seconds and then slathered with Nutella for a standard, but intoxicating, Nutella Pizza, er, Nutella Pinsa.
