Yes, the robot apocalypse is forever waylaid now that the machines have learned they can pacify us simply by bringing us adult refreshments.Officially ‘launching’ Memorial Day Weekend, local grocer DeCicco & Sons will be making their enormous in-house beer selection (full of local brews and dispensed by glass, growler, or even crowler) available for home delivery, and they’re doing it in the most Jeff Bezos-y way possible: by aerial drone.Yes, the two models of drone will be able to deliver between 32 and 64 ounces of potables directly to your door from the company’s Millwood and Brewster locations. Delivery will charge an extra $7.99, and begin rolling out gradually starting April 1 for a full launch by the end of May. No word yet on whether someone 21 or older will be required to sign for or accept the delivery.
