A new location for DeCicco & Sons in Eastchester, a hot Caribbean spot in Mount Vernon, and more make the month delicious.

The new, 70-seat Sea Flame Seafood & Steakhouse (Vernon Place Shops, 709 White Plains Rd, Scarsdale; 914.874.5366) is a big-city-style steakhouse with dry-aged cuts, beautiful seafood towers, house-made steak sauce and dressings, and an impressive Cali/Italian-centric wine list.

Fiamma Trattoria has closed, and in its place is Osteria Padre Pio (501 Halstead Ave, Mamaroneck; 914.380.8704). Entrées include house-made cavatelli with fava-bean pesto and fresh ricotta; roasted wild salmon with olives, tomatoes, capers, and mint; and a 14-oz pork chop agrodolce.

Takeout Caribbean fare is on order at The OXBox Kitchen (691 E. Lincoln Ave, Mount Vernon; 914.573.1653). On the menu: a jerk New York strip, lobster-and-shrimp pasta, oxtail fries, and curry chicken or goat.

Meat the Greek (8 Mill Rd, Eastchester; 914.346.8664) offers traditional Hellenic fare in a fast-casual setting. Order the house-made sheftalia — lamb-and-pork sausage — or one of the 8-oz burgers made from a certified Angus chuck, rib, and brisket blend.

Scheduled to have opened by issue publication, in the space that once housed Sofrito, is Colombian House (175 Main St, White Plains), a sibling to the original in New Rochelle. Dishes to try include churrasco (grilled skirt steak), grilled chicken with shrimp in a garlic-butter sauce, and salmon in mango sauce.

The ninth location of DeCicco & Sons opened in Eastchester (777 White Plains Rd; 914.704.3220). The 30,000 sq. ft. store has an onsite bar and pub featuring a burger-and-barbecue menu, coffee bar, fresh juice bar, and — a first at a DeCicco & Sons — a create-your-own-bowls concept where proteins such as Mediterranean sirloin steak or pineapple teriyaki chicken are served over quinoa, soba noodles, salad, or rice.

Levain Bakery, one of NYC’s best and especially known for superb, oversized cookies, is now selling frozen, fully baked cookies at area Whole Foods (Chappaqua, Port Chester, White Plains, Yonkers). Flavors include two-chip chocolate chip, dark chocolate peanut butter chip, oatmeal raisin, and chocolate chip walnut.
