Brown Sugar & Mustard-Glazed Smoked Ham

Serves 8 to 12

1 (10 to 12 lb) fully cooked, trimmed, bone-in smoked ham
1½ cups brown mustard (preferably Baker’s brand)
3 cups dark brown sugar
2 Tbsp finely chopped garlic
2 Tbsp water

Cook ham according to the package instructions.
Meanwhile, combine the mustard, sugar, garlic, and water and cook over medium heat until the sugar is fully dissolved and it boils lightly.
Remove from the heat and cool.
When the meat is just about done, remove from the oven and pour ½ cup of the glaze onto the meat.
Return to the oven and let ham cook for another 10 to 15 minutes, continuing to baste it with the remaining glaze as needed.
