Everyone’s favorite dining spot for a Tappan Zee/Cuomo Bridge view is also a local favorite when it comes to bánh mì. The predominantly traditional American menu is peppered with a few international highlights, including this sandwich with garlic, sesame, and lime roasted pork shoulder topped with pickled carrot, English cucumber, cilantro, and a special Vietnamese BBQ sauce. Appropriately titled Ahi Bánh Mì Steamed Buns, this is a dish to try.

Seriously, grab Ly’s bánh mì. With about 10 different styles to choose from, you can go old-school (lemongrass pork chops or grilled chicken, pâté, and bacon with a fried egg) or new-school (panko-fried shrimp, beef bulgogi, and Thai basil chicken with bell peppers and papaya). The eatery also offers bánh mì salad bowls, where you can enjoy all the array of flavors, minus the bread.
