Designed to accommodate the tastes of a young growing family, this Scarsdale kitchen “has an ultra-modern feel with cool, clean lines,” says architect Bana Choura Loughran. “Opening it up to the family room not only brought in more light but also opened the view to the backyard pool. Globe lighting over the kitchen island and a fanciful crystal chandelier adds a fresh, fun look to the space where the family spends much of its time.” The countertops and backsplash are by Marble America, sinks and faucets are from Best Plumbing, Tile & Stone, and cabinetry is by John Johnstone and Gerry Hackett at Modern Classics.
