“I set up a high bank of windows for privacy, and perpendicular to the vanity to allow natural light to flow into the room,” says architect Len Brandes. “A large double window over the tub allows more light and creates a natural flow through ventilation across the room.” The Scarsdale clients had a classic modern viewpoint and worked closely with Murphy Brothers to maximize space with the custom built-ins and the vanity. The tailored cabinetry and Calcutta gold marble punctuated with nickel accents brings a depth of spirit and freshness to the master bath. The tub, toilet, and sink bowls are Kohler Vintage from Davis & Warshow; faucet fixtures are Lefroy Brooks; and tile and stone are from Marble America.
