The Face of Equitable Access to Mental Health Care

Access Psychology Foundation (APF) transforms and saves lives by increasing access to evidence-based mental health treatment and training for people of color and underserved communities. The non-profit organization was founded in 2022 by Drs. Alec Miller and Lata McGinn, acclaimed clinical psychologists and experts in cognitive and dialectical behavior therapy. APF addresses the inequities in mental health care by increasing access to proven and effective mental health care in clinical and school settings in underserved communities; and by increasing the number of licensed and culturally competent mental health clinicians available to provide care in those communities.
