Westchester Magazine’s Wine & Food Festival 2024 was a weeklong celebration of culinary delights and fine beverages, taking
place from June 4th to June 9th.

The festival kicked off with Perfect Pairings of Wine & Food, an event hosted by renowned wine expert Kevin Zraly at Crabtree’s Kittle House Restaurant & Inn. Attendees enjoyed a curated selection of wines paired with the restaurant’s cuisine. Party on the Pier at Playland brought the festival to the boardwalk, featuring samples from local restaurants and food trucks, a variety of drinks, and live music. The evening also included the 6th Annual Bartender Shake-Off, showcasing some of Westchester’s top bartenders. The Burger & Beer Blast at Kensico Dam Plaza was a hit, with 23 local restaurants competing to create the best burger. Alongside the competition, guests enjoyed craft beer, wine, spirits, and music. The Wine Collectors’ Dinner offered an exclusive experience for wine connoisseurs to share their most valued vintages with fellow enthusiasts, complemented by a special dinner prepared by top chef Anthony Goncalves. The Grand Tasting Village, held on June 8th was a gourmet’s delight. Over 40 local restaurants participated, offering a wide array of dishes to all that attended. The event featured more than 100 wines and spirits, providing a diverse tasting experience. For those seeking a more exclusive experience, the Connoisseurs Tent offered access to the event’s highest quality wines. The Bubbly Brunch & Beats, at Hudson Prime Steakhouse in Irvington was the closing event of the Wine & Food Festival 2024, which offered a relaxed yet vibrant environment for festival-goers to unwind and enjoy the company of friends and family over food and drinks.

The festival was a salute to the finest food, exceptional spirits, and award-winning chefs from throughout the county, drawing over 7,000 people from the New York Metro area. It was a true showcase of the culinary spirit of Westchester County. Thank you to all the sponsors and partners who played a pivotal role in the success of Westchester Magazine’s Wine & Food Festival 2024. Until next year!

Westchester Parks Foundation (formerly Friends of Westchester County Parks) engages the public to advocate for and invest in the preservation, conservation, use, and enjoyment of the 18,000 acres of parks, trails, and open spaces within the Westchester County Parks system. Westchester Parks Foundation creates and manages programs that unite people from all corners of the county to gather together, where they are inspired to care for, learn about, and enjoy our parks. Our programs are purposeful, engage the public, and enrich our park system. WPF makes physical improvements to our park system, recognizing that public action and private support must join together to secure the future of our park infrastructure and the enhancements that help our parks thrive. Since their inception in 1977, WPF has overseen the investment of more than $14 Million into Westchester County Parks.
