Light Blue Touch – A Way to Proceed towards a Better Death

May 3, 2015 @ 5:30 am - 7:00 am

Is there a better death? What would that mean? Can we prepare ourselves towards it in the same manner we prepare to other major changes in life? After and before all, death is an integrative part of life, isn't it?

RSVP to tinw@optonline.net; $10 including a light breakfast

Join us as Dr. Edith Kimchi, following close, direct and extensive contact with a person diagnosed with a terminal

illness, was privileged to witness the different and very special process that her friend underwent, leading up to his death.

As a direct result of this she started a working group of friends and professionals to research and review the challenges and processes that accompany terminal illness and the preparation for death.

Their aim was to come up with means and ways that would help those who are battling serious diseases or facing death, to help their close relatives and friends in facing such a situation and as well, to assist those dealing with the departure of a loved one and the ensuing bereavement. Our wish was that those processes would become more effective, promoting, embracing and natural.

Death is a natural process of the ending of life in its present form and we believe that the way in which a person departs from life here is significant both in relation to the continuation of their own journey and to those family and loved ones who remain here.
