Gardens and Landscapes of the Hudson Valley

Slides and discussion of historic landscapes along the river in the Great Estates region of the Mid-Hudson Valley with master gardener Eleanor Hoffman. The Hudson Valley’s scenic landscapes, one of the most beautiful regions in America and home to beautiful gardens are significant for their contributions to landscape design and horticulture. In this lecture, we will visit five of the historic landscapes in the Great Estates region of the Mid-Hudson Valley. Master Gardener Eleanor Hoffman has been trained in horticulture by Cornell University Cooperative Extension of Westchester County.
