Looking for the perfect spot to watch the final World Cup match this Sunday? We’ve rounded up some of Westchester’s top World cup deals on beer, wine, and food for when you watch the finals. Whether you’re a fan of Germany, Argentina, or just drinking, we’ve got you covered.
The Brazen Fox
This White Plains hotspot will be hosting a “viewing party,” with all televisions volumes at full blast. They’ll be running specials on beer pitchers, ranging from $15-$18: Blue Moon ($18), Stella ($18), Shock Top ($15), and Bud Lite ($15) will all be available.
Beechmont Tavern
Beechmont Tavern, also in White Plains, will be offering several specials on beer pitchers and pints. Domestic drafts will run at $3 a pint or $10 a pitcher. Rooting for the Germans (or just love their beer)? Try the Hofbräu Summer—a German beer priced at $5 for a half-liter and $10 per liter.
Smokehouse Tailgate Grill
Looking for some pub-style snacks to try while watching? Head to this New Rochelle grill, which will offer a $5 menu of bar-type foods—this include chips served with various salsas, as well as empanadas. There will be $15 bucket specials for beers, along with $3 and $4 draft specials.
Bob Hyland’s Sports Page Pub
This sports bar is starting the festivities early for Sunday’s afternoon game, opening at 2:30 pm instead of its usual 5 pm opening time. Beer specials include 16-ounce cans of PBR at $3, Heineken drafts at $4, and $11 pitchers of Miller Lite.
Harry’s of Hartsdale
The Best of Westchester-winning New American restaurant and bar kicks off its World Cup Happy Hour at 3 pm. Sip wine and craft beer for $5; martinis, mixed drinks, and Brazilian specials will also be served.
Going to be in the Hudson Valley area for the weekend? We also checked out some spots for those of you spending the weekend up north.
Avida Wine Bar
Located in Nyack, Avida will be offering beer and wine specials for the duration of the game, with happy hour running from 3-6 pm. Sagres, a Portuguese beer, and wine glasses will both be served at $4 each. Free appetizers will also be floating around the bar to satisfy those mid-game munchies.
Keegan Ales
Need a “break” at half-time? Stop by Keegan Ales in Kingston for discounted beers at $1 off from 3 – 6 pm. There may not be television sets, but you can feel good about drinking your beer by participating in a fundraiser for Kingston Point Dog Park, which will include live music and a silent auction. Cheers to you!
The Ruck
In Troy, The Ruck offers over 30 beers on tap, along with tasty menu items, like their locally revered wings. On Sunday, happy hour runs from 4 – 7 pm, with $1 off all domestic bottles.
Backstage Studio Productions (BSP)
Kingston’s BSP is the place to be if you’re looking for a great view of Sunday’s afternoon game. The entertainment venue will be screening the match on their big-screen television—doors open at 2:30, and entry is free.
