When a team travels somewhere new together, it is a bonding experience — even if that place is a virtual one. At The Edge VR, the fully interactive and immersive, multiplayer, VR gaming experience is known as The Edge of Space. Using the company’s proprietary magnetic-tracking technology, a lightweight motion-capture suit is worn, with hands, legs, feet, and fingers all functioning within the VR environment. Founder Adam Anfiteatro says the social aspect of interacting in that world feels surreal. “The fact that you see yourself and others as avatars inside the virtual world — you also interact with physical items in the play space — adds to a level of immersion that you can’t get in any other experience.”
