Fingertip, single-tier veils are the most popular style at Be Unique Boutique, according to owner Erika Pitt, who says that “elbow-length veils become too bulky, and brides aren’t wearing blushers so much any more. Beautiful, finished edges are big, such as lace scallops, and headbands are coming back. Vine-style headpieces that tie with a ribbon, pins in the hair, and combs are very popular here.”

“One-tier veils are most popular,” says Jennette Kruszka at Kleinfeld. “Ethereal veils with ribbon trim and horsehair, such as designs by Peter Langner, are very popular.” Like many bridal pros, Kruszka says that combs, headbands, and wreaths are more popular than tiaras, and, “We’re seeing more rose gold and opal stones as embellishments on headpieces, such as those from Lindsay Marie Designs.”
