The owners of the popular Bedford Hills furniture store Country Willow know a thing or two about beautiful furnishings and sustainability. That’s why it’s so exciting that they branched out and opened a new shop, The Loft at CW, in May. The 1,750 sq. ft. space, next door to the original Country Willow location, houses a more urban style of furniture and accessories for the home.
“We want the space to appeal to Millennial and Gen-X shoppers who prefer modern, sleek lines with some rustic look and feel,” says Mike Leibowitz, CEO of Country Willow. “We want to stay true to our vision, so we are careful to choose products for The Loft at CW that meet the quality and sustainability standards we have strived for in our 23 years of business.”
The store’s target customers are in their peak home-buying years, Leibowitz says, noting that many of The Loft at CW’s pieces will be in-stock or available with faster delivery than at Country Willow — but the store will offer a more streamlined choice of products.
The selection includes pieces for the bedroom, living room, and dining room, complete with artwork, rugs, and occasional pieces and lamps. There is also a selection of styles geared for loft, apartment, and condo living.
“We want to make sure that Country Willow continues to provide a diverse style offering,” says Leibowitz. “There is a market demand for this style that isn’t represented in local brick-and-mortar stores. The Loft at CW provides a place to touch, feel, and experience the furniture.”
