Now is the time when there’s a certain charm in the air and a young scholar’s fancy turns to looking at college rankings. US News & World Report published its much-buzzed-about rankings, and Westchester’s educational institutions did us proud. Purchase College, in particular, came in at No. 9 on the list of Top Public Schools. It also represented us on the list of High School Counselor Rankings (No. 143) and showed up on the list of Best National Liberal Arts Colleges (No. 177).
Other local colleges that made the US News & World Report lists include Iona College (No. 30 on the list of Best Regional Universities North), Concordia College (No. 42 on Best Regional Colleges North), Manhattanville College (No. 46 on Best Regional Universities North), and Pace University (No. 170 on Best National Universities and No. 173 in High School Counselor Rankings).
