Beginning in late March, kids can ooh and aah over the latest additions to the farm at Stone Barns: newborn lambs. Lambs will spend their first few weeks in the barnyard, nursing from their mothers. At the end of April, the lambs and ewes will make their way out to graze on fresh grass. Then, check out the pastures, where the sheep are watched over by Maremma Sheepdogs, which protect the flock from predators.

Lyndhurst Design and Build Family Weekend

Bicycle Sundays on the Bronx River Parkway
(May 7, 14, 21; June 4, 11, 18, 25; Sept 10, 17, 24) White Plains to Yonkers
Grab your bikes and helmets and ride the parkway during select Sundays in May, June, and September. This 6.5-mile stretch of the Bronx River Parkway is closed to all cars and opened for bicyclists, joggers, scooters, and strollers. Park your car at the County Center lot and bike to Scarsdale Road in Yonkers.
