It’s a storied venue that has hosted countless memories at One Twenty-Three North Street. And now, Harrison Meadows Country Club will continue to be that place to hold meaningful ceremonies and celebrations. The club is nestled in the rolling hills of Westchester County and was designed as a picturesque and championship-caliber golf course in 1917.
The Meadows Social Kitchen and Bar, the club’s restaurant that overlooks the golf course, has opened its doors to club members and to the public. Overlooking the breathtaking golf course, this historic spot offers both privacy and spaciousness. Guests will enjoy a contemporary American-style menu infused with a modern twist. The approach is simple: they offer eclectic plates in a sleek ambiance setting combined with unique creative cocktails.
Vincent Corso, a long-time and respected restauranter in the Tri-State and Westchester area, has the helm as the Food and Beverage Director and is enthusiastic about welcoming club members and guests. “I have worked in this business for over 30 years,” says Corso. “Even after all that time, my love for the hospitality industry remains the same. I am excited for the future of our industry and about bringing a new culinary destination to Harrison.”
If you are looking to mark that special occasion, the on-site Team of Hospitality Professionals looks forward to providing guests with the finest in food, service, and amenities. First-class service for a first-class experience! Corso’s philosophy will be creating memories with food. Whether it is a dinner, corporate, holiday, or special event, outstanding food and service will be the cornerstone of your dining experience here at The Meadows. It is a unique meeting place for social, cultural, and community gatherings.
The Meadows Grand Ballroom has a capacity for up to 250 guests, and the space can be tailored to accommodate events of all kinds, from business meetings to weddings. “We have an outstanding space and top-notch, experienced staff that share the same goal to execute events flawlessly,” Corso says. “Over the years, I’ve gotten a great sense of the kind of food and beverage people in Westchester enjoy.”
Working with Executive Chef Adam Lakis, Corso says diners can look forward to crowd-pleasers offerings that include a wide range of handcrafted appetizers, small plates, and entrees, from Pasta to Shellfish to Grilled Steaks, and even Burgers. Chef Lakis started his career as a server at the tender age of 14 and has spent 22 years pursuing his passion. He has worked with top chefs in New York City hotels, notably at The Pierre. He fulfilled his desire to return to Westchester by joining the team at the Sleepy Hollow Country Club in Briarcliff Manor, where he led the culinary team for five years, followed up in his role as Executive Chef at Larchmont Yacht Club. Adam is looking forward to making culinary memories with club members—many of whom call him “the best chef in town”—and others looking to experience milestones, networking opportunities, and visits with friends and family.
Corso also wants to emphasize that the event space is available year-round for events open to the public. “In addition to our dining spaces, we have a 3100-square-foot outdoor patio, which is heated and usable for much of the year,” he says. The patio offers amazing views of the golf course and the beautiful Westchester landscape.
Corso is clear: “We are ready to serve you.” Come see what the curiosity cravings are all about. So, grab a chair, whether it is inside or outdoors, and tune into the buzz because Harrison just got bigger.
