The Business Council of Westchester teams with Hospital for Special Surgery to promote wellness during its annual golf outing.
The Business Council of Westchester has transformed its annual golf outing to the HSS Day of Wellness in recognition of sponsorship of the event by the Hospital for Special Surgery. The June 6 HSS Day of Wellness at the Scarsdale Golf Club will continue offering golf, while adding tennis, pickleball, yoga, guided meditation, entertainment, and more.
“We are so fortunate to have HSS as a leading healthcare organization in Westchester,” says Dr. Marsha Gordon, BCW president and CEO. “The HSS Day of Wellness also recognizes that we all need self-care and opportunities to explore new forms of health, wellness and relaxation.”
The theme will be expressed by eight Pillars of Wellness: physical, social, emotional, career, financial, spiritual, intellectual, and community.
The Hospital for Special Surgery, the oldest orthopedic hospital in the United States, is one of the world’s leading academic medical centers focused on musculoskeletal health. For the past 12 years, U.S. News & World Report ranked HSS at number one for orthopedics.
“We are honored to work with the Business Council of Westchester and their re-envisioned health and wellness event this June, known as the HSS Day of Wellness,” says Dr. Seth Jerabek, Co-Medical Director, HSS Westchester. “Healthy activity is vital to overall well-being and should be part of everyone’s daily regimen. We strongly support providing communities with best practices and this collaboration is an important reminder to balance self-care and wellness with our busy work schedules.”
