Here’s a case of the restaurant community taking care of its own. Chef Jill Rose, chef/owner of Tarrytown’s Chiboust, has been struggling through a tough time with breast cancer and mounting medical bills. To help out, several local restaurants and other businesses have banded together mount a benefit event. Look for the evening to include a raffle, tunes by WFUV DJ Rita Houston, beer from Captain Lawrence Brewery, and bites from a variety of restaurants including American Bistro (Tuckahoe), Santa Fe, Sweet Grass Grill, Samosa Shack, Tarry Tavern, Taste of China, Lefteris Gyro, Main Street Pizza, and Mint (Tarrytown), Mima (Irvington), Zuppa (Yonkers), and more.
