“This Bedford Hills client did not shy away from color, which resulted in a funky and vibrant space that is the main gathering spot in the home,” Paquin says. “Keeping the large upholstery items neutral allowed us to go bold on the smaller pieces, including the turquoise drapes, berry-colored patterned chairs, and bright pillows.” Although there is a lot of color in this space, it is well balanced and grounded by all the gray furnishings and fireplace stonework. The custom rug by Creative Accents provides movement, pulling the eye to the brightly colored elements.
