WCA President Elected Chairman of CMS Bancorp, Grand Prix Revs Up New Virtual Racing, Tarrytown DoubleTree Honored by TripAdvisor

William M. Mooney, Jr., was elected chairman of the Board of Directors of the CMS Bancorp, Inc., and CMS Bank (formerly Community Mutual Savings Bank). Mooney has been a director on both the company’s and the bank’s Boards of Directors since 2011. Mooney is the president of the Westchester County Association. Mooney’s long career in the banking industry has included positions with Union State Bank, Chase Manhattan Bank, Chemical Bank, and Citibank. He also served as president and CEO of Hudson Valley Bank. “Bill Mooney will provide valuable leadership to CMS Bank,” says John Ritacco, president and CEO of CMS Bank.

Phelps Admits Six to Its Board, Advertising Industry Honors Its Own, County Unveils New PR Campaign to Boost Business

Phelps Memorial Hospital Center, a 238-bed community hospital in Sleepy Hollow, has appointed six new members to its board of directors. They are Christy Joyce, MD, of Ossining, senior attending physician in internal medicine at Phelps since 1992; Briarcliff Manor residents Richard Peress, MD, director of the department of surgery at Phelps, and Louis Wachtel, chief executive officer and founder of Spectrum Realty Capital, Inc.; Kenneth Miller of Chappaqua, an attorney with the firm Otterbourg, Steindler, Houston & Rosen, P.C., in Manhattan; Diane Potter of Irvington, consumer marketing director for the Bonnier Corporation; and Rebecca Srole of Sleepy Hollow, senior vice president with Chase Healthcare Banking.
