The job-hunting process is no easy feat, but these upcoming events should make that process a little smoother. We’ve compiled a list of the top networking events (both in-person and virtual) in Westchester County for the spring. Don’t forget to bring your business card!

LinkedIn Local Hudson Valley

May 13, 6-8 p.m.
Royal Regency Hotel, Yonkers

LinkedIn Local Hudson Valley returns for a panel discussion called “The Human Side of Business: Building Strong Foundations” and the chance to meet professionals face-to-face. This event will offer an engaging panel conversation hosted by Pasquale Palumbo from CPC Wealth Management and Maggie Carey from Master it Media. Snacks will be provided as well as a cash bar. Best of all, all proceeds from this fantastic event will go to Greater Mental Health of New York, a nonprofit organization promoting mental health through community education and advocacy. Playland Park Job Fair

May 10, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.; Westchester County Center, White Plains
May 17, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.; Playland Park, Rye
June 7, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.; Westchester County Center, White Plains

If you’re thinking about a new gig, then Playland Park is the place to be this summer. The Rye fun center be hosting three job fairs — two at Westchester County Center and one at Playland Park — for positions including lifeguards, cashiers, ride operators, painters, and more. Plus, the first 100 applicants will have the chance to interview on the spot! Salaries at $16.60 per hour. If you can’t visit the job fairs in person, you can print and send your resume to playlandjobs@westchestercountyny.gov.

Hudson Valley Virtual Career Fair

May 21-22, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

If your schedule is jam-packed with to-do items, then the New York State Department of Labor virtual career fair is the perfect way to connect and chat one-on-one with recruiters. The fair will hold a preview day on May 21 and a live event on May 22. The preview day allows you to browse through available job openings, watch informative views, and visit exhibitor booths. You’ll be able to view the same content from the preview day during the live event. Registration is required before the live event, so make sure your resumes are updated and uploaded in advance.
