Why it Works: It’s a crowd-pleaser with an “everyone is family” atmosphere. The soaring space—a former Ford dealership—offers two private dining rooms: the clubby lounge to the far left, with its vintage-style library ambience (accommodates 30; minimum of 20), and the back room, with its roomy interior (for space up to 85). Food is served buffet- or family-style and includes a choice of Italian favorites such as fried calamari, chicken parmiagana, veal piccata, stuffed shells, and, of course the restaurant’s famous brick oven pizza, often cut up in smaller pieces and offered as an appetizer.
Fine Print: Prices start at $37 per person, which includes unlimited soda, coffee, and tea (there is no room fee), and you can bring in your own decorations and dessert. The restaurant has a deal with Flowers by Sutton on the corner should you want decorations delivered. It can also arrange for valet parking.
