Robbie Levy, executive director and founder
When Robbie Levy, executive director and founder of Dynamic Kids, established her company 20 years ago, she had five employees offering speech, occupational, and physical therapy to kids from birth through teens. Today, she has more than two-dozen staff members helping approximately 300 kids a week reach their full potential.
Responding to the needs of the Early Intervention community and the lack of therapists available for Westchester families, Levy expanded Dynamic Kids in 2015 and moved to a new facility in Hartsdale, with two smartly designed sensory gyms and enrichment groups featuring yoga, music, and art. Dynamic Kids also offers social-skills classes and even bike-riding clinics for children with special needs.
Levy finds it “extremely gratifying to see the smile on a child’s face when they master a new task.” It is heartwarming, she says, “to be told over and over you are the only one who ‘gets my child’ or that ‘you actually take the time to listen to me and my concerns.’”
Always ahead of the curve and recognizing new stringent reimbursement regulations, Levy has responded to the needs of today’s families by offering various services at different price points and providing different delivery models. It is Levy’s drive to innovate and expand their offerings that keeps Dynamic Kids at the forefront in a highly competitive field.
