Westchester Magazine’s 15th annual Wine & Food Festival brought together food lovers, wine enthusiasts, and top chefs for an unforgettable week of indulgence from June 3-8, 2025.

The festival kicked off with Perfect Pairings of Wine & Food was held at The Briarcliff Manor, where renowned wine expert Kevin Zraly guided guests through an exclusive tasting experience. Midweek, excitement soared at Party on the Pier at Playland Park in Rye, where attendees enjoyed gourmet bites, craft cocktails, and live music along the scenic waterfront. A thrilling competition unfolded at the 7th Annual Bartender Shake-Off, where talented mixologists competed for the title of Best Bartender. Emilio Ugarte, of RiverMarket Bar + Kitchen defended his title in the bartender shake off, securing his fourth championship win, while Michael Boulos of The Raconteur Bar gave a stellar performance as runner-up. The Burger & Beer Blast brought out Westchester’s best burger contenders, each serving up their most mouthwatering creations in a battle for burger supremacy. With bold flavors and creative toppings, the competition was as fierce as it was delicious! The Filling Station claimed the People’s Choice top prize. Exit 4 Food Hall impressed, taking second place. Lulu’s Kitchenette and Avellino Family BBQ tied for third, keeping the showdown deliciously competitive. Exit 4 Food Hall also secured the Judges’ Choice Award, earning top marks from the expert tasting panel. On Friday night, the Wine Collectors’ Dinner at Kanopi offered a night of pure indulgence, where guests raised a glass in support of Alexandra’s Playground. A special moment of the evening honored Michael Quinttus, founder and CEO of VINTUS, as the recipient of the Ralph A. Martinelli Wine & Food Award. The grand finale, the Grand Tasting Village, showcased over 40 local restaurants and 200 wines and spirits, with live chef demonstrations and exclusive wine seminars.

With its vibrant atmosphere, exquisite flavors, and engaging events, the 2025 Wine & Food Festival once again proved why it’s a must-attend celebration for food and wine lovers. Cheers to another successful year!
