Pleasantville resident and fashion designer Neil Bieff knows how to create the perfect outfit for that extra-special occasion.Special occasions are not difficult to come by. But special-occasion outfits? That’s where things get tricky. Enter fashion designer Neil Bieff, a Pleasantville resident who creates intricate gowns and sexy, sophisticated cocktail dresses.
His line consists of cocktail dresses, gowns, suits, and dressy separates. “Nothing I do is retro; I don’t like that look. I just keep trying to think of things that haven’t been done before.” Bieff is known for his unique color combinations and intricate hand-sewn embroidery. “To be a good designer, you have to be aware of art, ” he says. “It’s all aesthetics.”
In Westchester, Bieff’s designs are sold exclusively at Mary Jane Denzer in White Plains and start at $750 for tops and can go up to $9,000 for gowns. Check out his entire collection on June 20 and 21 at a trunk show at Mary Jane Denzer.
