Holiday Shopping: Giving Back Edition

Still have a few last minute gifts to buy? Why not buy something for a cause? Okay I’m not being cheesy here. I’m thinking: you’ll not only make someone in your life happy, you’ll make someone in need happy too. Okay, maybe a bit cheesy. But come on! How’s that for starting the year off on a good karmic note?

(RED)
One of the most popular campaigns of the year, you can find (RED) products almost everywhere. From an Inspi(red) tee for your sister-in-law at the GAP, to red Converse sneakers for your hipster nephew to a red iPod nano for your daughter, the products really run the gamut. Holiday Shopping: Larchmont

I have to be honest, before I started working here, I rarely ventured away from the Yonkers-White Plains route. There were enough malls, shopping centers and restaurants on the way to satisfy me at the time. I've since started to expand my horizons and was led straight to Larchmont: a serious shopping haven, which just so happens to be where our second edition of holiday shopping takes us. Last minute Hanukkah shoppers take notes.

I parked close to the train station, right on Palmer Avenue, which is where most of the shops are. There’s no meter parking, and if you can snag a spot, you’re good to go for hours.
